Akara Maruti– Kolhapur- Nrusinha Wadi

11 Maruti or God Hanuman temples were established by Samarth Ramdas in Maharashtra, India in the 17th century. The objective behind establishing these temples was to create awareness of fitness among the youth of Maharashtra so that they could participate in establishing the Maratha Empire started by Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

The Shri Ambabai (mahalaxmi)Temple of Kolhapur in Maharashtra, India, is one of the most famous temples of Hinduism of the state. Kolhapur and the temple is located on the banks of the Panchganga River, it is about 230km south of Pune. The temple belongs architecturally to the Chalukya empire and was first built in the 7th century.The temple is referred to in multiple Puranas.

Narasimha wadi commonly known as Narsobawadi or Narsobachi Wadi is a small town in Shirol Tahasil in Kolhapur district, Maharashtra. Narsobawadi gets its name from the presence of 'Shri Narasimha Saraswati', the Purna Avatar of Lord Dattatray. With a lot of archaeological value this became a major pilgrim spot for many Shri Dattatray devotee. Also, there is a confluence of the two rivers Panchganga and Krishna.
